【The Fall of the Queen】Lying-in-State: People queuing for more than 15 hours to pay last tributes.

Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8 at the age of 96, the longest-reigning British monarch. In the past week, there have been mourning events all over the UK, and the most eye-catching one is London, where the queues have been waiting for more than 15 hours.

Yesterday (18th), heads of state, including US President Joe Biden, arrived in Westminster, London, to pay their respects to the remains. They then met with King Charles III at Buckingham Palace and will participate in the state funeral this morning.
